We strive to showcase talented local artists and impactful works of art.

We highlight powerful artists that aren’t regularly published and share with the community at large transformative works they otherwise might not have come across.

Inside Out City is a public art project that digitally collects local art and projects them onto public spaces across the City of Jacksonville. Art forms include, but are not limited to - visual art, photography, poetry, animation, dance, and video.

The first projections begin with a kick-off event on July 9th, utilizing abandoned buildings in Springfield. Pop-up projections are to follow in various neighborhoods across the city. This project is made possible by the JAX ARTS Project grant program funded by PNC bank in partnership with the Cultural Council.

Submissions for the July 9th event ends on June 21st.

Check out .out.City or visit www.insideoutcity.com to submit your work and gain more insight!

Hope you participate! 👏👏👏

The past year brought with it many setbacks and disruptions to our lives. Our goal at Radx has always been to foster connections between artists and provide a stage for the often overlooked and seldom appreciated artist. One of the ways we were able to accomplish this in the past was through hosting local events that encouraged networking between like-minded creatives.

Like many others, we were challenged to adapt and accommodate to an ever-changing artistic landscape with the onset of the pandemic. In essence, we knew we had to "think more digitally" and provide a way for unbelievable works of art to exist virtually and be accessible anywhere.

In this issue, we made it our sole priority to highlight artists such as and who both found ways to prosper through times of adversity. This release is comprised of works of art that capture the translation of persevering to various artistic mediums.

- FROM THE VAULT -

"A lot of time people stay on the surface level of things and I've always wanted to challenge people to go in deep because that's what was training me to be from the gut, from the root, and to help people. It's okay to cry. It's okay to feel. It’s okay to connect. It's okay to be present."

We’re going through some changes and in the interest of transparency, we want to be open with you and let you know what to expect from us in the next couple of months!

We’d like to take some time to take the advice that we shared in our previous issue and FOCUS.

The goal behind Radx has always been to uplift creatives of all types, but we also want to be a small business that takes the care to be accessible to a diverse readership. In order to live up to this dream of ours, the Radx team needs to take a PAUSE and shift the way we move.

But have no fear! We won’t be disappearing any time soon.

WHAT TO EXPECT?

We’ll be publishing our sixth issue, PERSEVERE, in a digital format on June 5, 2021. After this, we’ll be taking a short break to evaluate our approach to content and how we publish it.

We’ll be back in August 2021 with a fresh take. During this break we’ll also be posting digital content to the website.

We’ll still be here if you need us! Don’t hesitate to reach out with any inquiries you may have about submissions or collaborations.
