Chef Paul’s weekly special is here, and it’s not playing around. A smoked tri-tip sandwich, Granny Smith apple horseradish cream, Telera roll. And if you somehow have room left, the Jacksonville Bar is waiting. Chocolate and cocoa base, graham cracker crumble, vanilla cream, chocolate ganache. That’s dessert doing its job.

The Rachel. Roast turkey and Swiss on a telera roll, toasted until the cheese does what cheese is supposed to do. Russian dressing. House coleslaw. That is the whole list.

Simple food made by someone who knows what they are doing.

Available Wednesday through Saturday, 12 to 7. Sunday 12 to 6.

Most people arrive with plans.

Wine tasting. Dinner reservations. Maybe a hike before it gets too warm.

Then the the McCully magic happens.
One glass turns into two. Someone opens a book. The garden starts doing what gardens do in late spring and suddenly the day looks different than it did that morning.
