It may be time to consider Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
DBT helps people manage their emotions, relationships, and distress.

DBT teaches:
Mindfulness: Being aware of the present moment and accepting how things are
Distress tolerance: Managing difficult emotions without becoming overwhelmed
Emotion regulation: Understanding and controlling your emotions
Interpersonal effectiveness: Asking for what you need, setting boundaries, and respecting others

Today is the Child Cancer Fund's Care-a-Thon!

Jax Therapy is sponsoring the 4pm hour of this annual event that benefits the Child Cancer Fund. That means we will match all donations made during that hour (up to $10k). These donations are, of course, tax deductible.

Child Cancer Fund supports the families of children in NE Florida who are being treated for cancer. They provide assistance with bills, tutoring, and the other realities a family faces during a cancer battle.

We are excited to welcome Stephanie Skinner, LMHC to our team. Stephanie sees adolescents through adults who want to speak to someone about depression, anxiety, relationship issues, life transitions, or trauma. She currently has openings in our Mandarin office.
