Servant leadership is one in which the leader exists to serve the people instead of the other way around. “If people don’t have a compelling vision to serve, the only thing they have to serve is their own self-interest.”[1] One of the myths about leadership is that leadership is all about leaders. But leadership is not only about the leader. It is “about leaders, followers, organizations, circumstances, power, history, and more. It is the relationship of each to the other that makes the leadership matrix.”[2]
