I've recently gotten back into shooting film. There is something special about it. I can't quite put into words what it is, but the closest I can come to it would be that the finite nature of film makes each frame feel like a collection of moments stolen from time.

I need to work on focusing and not shooting wide open. So many hold overs from being spoiled with digital...

Quick walkabout test on the rehoused minitar lens from . I've gotta say, I enjoy it quite a bit. I enjoy the tactility of the lever focus and aperture selection, and the ability to cover the lens by sliding the cover in place. It feels like a solid emulation of shooting with an actual LCA.

Little update on the wiggle lens. Looking at August to start up again. Some stuff is kind of throwing scheduling out of whack. This LC-E was the last thing I was able to print before packing things away...

Preorders have closed for the Sony and Fuji 3D stereoscopic wiggle lens! Production will be starting up once all the materials get in. Both 3d printers have been tuned and dialed in for production.

I've made a spreadsheet of all the orders to keep track of fulfillment. I'll keep you guys posted if anything comes up, but for the most part my head will be down and focused on production.
