✨ What an incredible evening celebrating the completion of the Ponce Hall Restoration at !

This $130 million transformation revitalized 211,295 square feet of one of Florida’s most iconic landmarks — a building with over 135 years of history.

One of my favorite moments from the unveiling was finally seeing the original iron beams discovered during construction. These beams were designed to support the ornate ceiling of the historic Flagler Room, and now, proudly exposed in the corridors, they beautifully showcase the craftsmanship and innovation of the past.

It’s been an honor to help preserve and reimagine such a remarkable piece of history. Huge thanks to for entrusting us with this delicate and meaningful project. ❤️🧡

We had a blast designing the new offices for STG Contracting Group! Together we created a space that feels warm, masculine, and inviting. Rich wood grain beams contrast with upholstered ceiling panels. Metal accents and bold lighting features add strength and definition. Luxurious leather stands out against stone elements - a delicious blend of rugged sophistication and modern comfort.

The resin mobile, inspired by the beauty of Spanish moss, was a collaborative concept brought to light by LightArt. And major props to Blue Lane Creative for the stunning aerial mural of San Marco—it truly captures the heart of this community from above.

Meet Michael Blake!

Michael graduated from Louisiana Tech in 2003 and spent his early years in North Carolina & Louisiana. In 2006 he moved to Jacksonville, and joined the Lane Architecture team in 2019.

While he has experience in many fields, Michael’s passion is historic restoration. He is the project architect for our work at Flagler College and has been involved on campus for many years.

Michael is also a member of the AIA and Jacksonville’s Historical Society.
