I am doing a non-series race THIS Sunday, at Hobbyworld. It will be a multi-stage event. Everyone will race the clock from point A, to point B. This will be done three times. Fastest time wins. Any vehicle can participate, I will establish the classes as we go. Unlike normal races, I only need 1 vehicle to make a class. You will be competing for overall time, and class times. There is no admission fee to enter the race.

Season 2, Schedule
All races are projected to be at Hobbyworld. There could be a change as we progress into the new year. The first race is set for Dec 19, a Saturday. The remaining races will either be set for Sundays, or Saturdays for the remainder of the season. (I plan to watch Star Wars, the Force Awakens on Dec 20.)

April 16-17 (TBD) (Multi-Stage)

The first four races will be a closed circuit, very technical track. The surface will not be consistent through the whole course. Round Robin, so everyone will face off against each other, 2 cars at a time, for three laps. The final race will be the multi-stage timed events that we did last year.

We will run 1 open class this year. The only limit is the vehicle must be 1/10 scale or lower. If there are enough 17 or younger drivers, we will run them in a separate class, if they choose to run together.

Last year we ran all but one race as multi stage events, with two classes. The series ran for 5 races so I could learn to see what works and does not work. This season will be the same thing, but with a different race format. Next season should have more races, and a different balance of race formats.

I am working on a special venue for the final race this year.

I've been getting requests about the next series of Rally Racing. As many of you know, our course at Hobbyworld is overgrown. I am looking at using parking lots, or large open areas, to set up various courses. Post up here if you know of a place that we can get permission to use. I recall someone made a backyard track. I am very open to using backyard courses as well.

I'll be making an order for the Holidays in next day or two with LC Racing. Let us know if you are interested in anything. Remember, we do carry spare parts.

It's that time of year again! Our 3rd Annual Fall Bash and Swap Meet will be at Florida RC Outlet. Things will be a little different this year.
