Originally from Richmond, Virginia, ⁠Sydnor studied at Campbell University School of Law in Raleigh, North Carolina where he had the privilege of clerking for the Honorable Stephani W. Humrickhouse in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of North Carolina. He also worked for a private firm focusing on plaintiff’s environmental work and interned with a North Carolina Senator.⁠

Prior to joining Orr Cook, Sydnor completed a one-year clerkship in the City of Richmond Circuit Court where he worked on a wide variety of civil matters and gained valuable insight from the multiple judges he assisted. In his free time, Sydnor enjoys saltwater fishing, turkey hunting, and watching Tar Heel basketball. ⁠

Welcome to the team Megan Comunale!

Megan grew up in Satellite Beach, Florida and graduated from Satellite High School. She then received her Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations and Political Science from Florida State University in 2018, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude and as a member of Phi Beta Kappa. While at FSU, she worked at a Public Relations firm catering to lobbying groups around the state. She then headed to Washington and Lee College of Law in Virginia where she earned her JD in 2021. At Washington and Lee, Megan served on the University Board of Appeals and was a Lead Articles Editor for W&L’s Journal of Civil Rights and Social Justice. While in law school, she interned for a Duval County Court Judge and spent a summer working at Orr | Cook.

Welcome to the team Isabella Limonta Ramirez!

Isabella has joined Orr | Cook as an associate in the Ponte Vedra office. She grew up in Caracas, Venezuela and later moved to Viera, Florida. She completed her undergraduate degree in public relations and her law degree at the University of Florida in Gainesville. After law school, she moved to Jacksonville to begin her legal career.

While at UF Law, Isabella interned with the Florida Fourth District Court of Appeal, a Washington, D.C. law firm focusing on business immigration, and a Gainesville attorney practicing white-collar, criminal, professional licensing, and appellate law. She also spent her time in law school advocating for victims of domestic violence as a Certified Legal Intern by obtaining injunctions for protection or seeking humanitarian immigratory relief. Prior to joining the Firm, she practiced insurance defense.
