Anna and Amber had a great time representing Legacy Engineering at the NEFBA PWB Duck Race with their kiddos yesterday! From fun in the sun to face painting by Anna herself, it was a day full of smiles, laughter, and community connection.

What if the safest driver on your team isn’t a driver at all? The riskiest part of our day isn’t on the job site, but driving between them. Between project sites, client meetings, inspections, and field work, our team spends a significant amount of time driving across Northeast Florida every day.
That’s why Legacy Engineering is continuing to invest in technology that supports safer operations — including the addition of self-driving capable Tesla Cybertruck and Model Y vehicles to our fleet. Current driver-assist data shows self-driving technology can perform up to eight times safer than human drivers alone.
Within the next year 40% of our fleet will have full self-driving (FSD) capabilities. At Legacy Engineering, innovation is not about trends. It’s about protecting our people, reducing risk, and building a safer future for our team and clients. Because safety is more than PPE and protocols. It’s every decision we make — including how we get to the job site.

Last week we had some great guys from Jax Utilities Management, Inc. in the office for a Lunch & Learn, and it was a solid afternoon diving into the details that keep projects moving.
From Geotech to materials testing, we walked through how our team supports projects from the ground up, literally. And of course, no visit is complete without a behind the scenes look at the lab. Because seeing it in action always beats a slide deck. We appreciate you spending your lunch with us! Thank you!

John spent the day out at Jax Clay Target Sports supporting the Fellowship of Christian Athletes Clay Shoot honoring the Coaches Ministry. Legacy Engineering was proud to be a station sponsor and be part of something that invests in leadership both on and off the field. We are grateful to support an organization that values leadership, mentorship, and making a lasting impact!
We had the pleasure of hosting First Coast Habitat for Humanity at Legacy Engineering for a Lunch & Learn — and they didn’t just show up, they showed up thoughtfully… with a gift in hand 🎁
It’s always a great time when you have a room full of people who care about what they’re building and want to keep learning. We had some great conversations around geotechnical engineering, materials testing, and inspections, all while enjoying a well-earned lunch break.
