Alright everybody! Little update explaining my absence.

I'm so excited to share that this November, I will be a vender at a very special event! The Right Whale Festival has included me among some other great venders and I will be selling these whales that have become a huge favorite among my followers.

This festival is bringing together non-profit organizations, artists, musicians, authors, marine mammal scientists, as well as state and federal agencies with the common goal to raise awareness for this critically endangered species and promote ways to protect them from extinction. (So AMAZING!)

I'm so incredibly honored to be apart of something so beautiful. Watch for many more whale update's (among other sea creature) because there will a lot to post. I can't wait to share this journey with you all over the next few months

The meaning behind the pattern

The past few months have been a roller coaster of emotions. In the midst of writing and releasing patterns, having a full time job and being a full time mama, we went through a miscarriage back in March. And while it seems like I’ve lived a lifetime in the past few months, crocheting these creations and writing all my new patterns has kept my mind sane. It’s honestly the reason why I don’t want to stop…the reason why I keep writing patterns to so many random items. And it won’t stop any time soon. This Bee pattern was the first one I wrote after everything happened and became a memorial symbol for me to find peace.

I just wanted to say thank you to everyone who has been patient with me when I was slow to sending out orders, delays on releasing patterns and just showing your support and interest in the things that I create on this page.

To those who asked, to those who waited, and sort of on time for the summer….the bee pattern is finally here🐝 and I truly hope that whose who have interest in using it, find enjoyment in creating these adorable fuzzy friends.

I’ve changed this patterns final outlook 5 times. Finally found the look that I wanted and I’m so close to being done! I’ll share exactly how I got to this point and the beginning stages of what I first hoped for. For now, I hope this sneak peak is enjoyed by you guys as much as I enjoyed making it 🌻

Starting something ✨NEW✨

I’ve realized over the past few months how much passion I have for writing patterns. My Heeler family pattern definitely kicked that off and I want to start making more especially now that I have an idea as to how they are written (and now that I have a working computer😅).

Some patterns will be bigger and more intricate like my Heelers and some will be smaller and more simple (much like this simple potted plant).

I can’t wait to share with you guys all the the ideas I have in store! So many big ideas that I can’t wait to get written out and share with everyone!

I will still be making my custom orders and existing item orders but those will look a little more different as I tackle this new interest.
