A tornado ripped through the Twin Palms Resort in Okeechobee, Florida Wednesday afternoon.

Just hours before Hurricane Milton made landfall Wednesday night.

A total of 39 homes were destroyed, along with 10 RV trailers behind some of the homes, were flown into the pond.

The good news I can share is no deaths were reported. One person was transported by EMS for minor injuries.

Six other people had minor injuries but did not require further treatment, according to the Glades County Sheriff's Office.

This is an unusual site to see after a hurricane.

Neighbors I spoke to said a transmitter fell on this home causeing it to go up flames last night.

Due to the strong hurricane winds, the fire department couldn't come out to extinguish the fire.

Luckily, no one was home at the time of the fire.
