As Women's History Month comes to an end, we just want to highlight again the great celebrations we had last week. Many thanks to our two speakers, Mrs. Nakia Cowart and Rev. Maxine Bolden!
Our very own Capital River District UMC superintendent, Rev. Trey Harper, joined us in worship this Palm Sunday and what a time we had in the name of the Lord! We’re glad you came to worship with us and you’re welcome back anytime!

Palm Sunday at Middlebrook was full of guests and celebrations. After a triumphant procession into the sanctuary with our palm branches, we celebrated the last Sunday in Women’s History Month by honoring our own Alice Emmanuel and Frances Moffett for their commitment and service to mission and ministry. Mrs. Moffett’s family joined us for the recognition and our own Capital River District superintendent, Rev. Trey Harper joined us for worship as well!
Pastor’s message was “My Time Has Come” and came from Luke 19:28-31.
Day two of the Women’s History Month Celebration at Middlebrook continued with a word from Rev. Maxine Bolden, pastor of White Oak United Methodist Church in Crystal Springs and chaplain of Methodist Rehabilitation Center. Her message came from Luke 13:10-17 and was titled, Bound, but Determined.” Have a listen…
Middlebrook’s own, Nakia Cowart gave in inspiring message for day one of United Women in Faith’s two-day celebration of Women’s History Month.
