What started as a simple idea to create opportunities for adults with developmental disabilities has grown into an amazing community built on inclusion, friendship, and belonging.

In this JTV interview, I share the story behind CLUBLIFE, the impact we’ve been able to make throughout Jackson County, and why we created the CLUBLIFE Community Foundation. Our goal is simple: ensure these opportunities continue for years to come through sustainable funding, camperships, scholarships, and program support.

Thank you to everyone who has supported our mission and believed in what we’re building together. ❤️

❤️ Why CLUBLIFE Matters ❤️

When most people think about services for individuals with disabilities, they think about school, therapy, employment, or medical supports.

Those things are important.

But what about friendships?

What about having a place to belong, people to laugh with, opportunities to try new things, and a community that welcomes you exactly as you are?

At CLUBLIFE, we've watched participants make their first real friendships, gain confidence, try activities they never thought possible, and become more connected to their community.

Those moments matter.

The CLUBLIFE Community Foundation was created to help ensure these opportunities continue for years to come through scholarships, camperships, and sustainable program support.

If you'd like to help create more moments of connection and belonging, we'd be honored to have you join us as one of our Founding Donors.

🎉 Introducing the CLUBLIFE Community Foundation 🎉

Over the past several years, CLUBLIFE has been fortunate to provide hundreds of opportunities for individuals with disabilities to build friendships, stay active, travel, learn new skills, and become more connected to their community.

Many people may not realize that nearly all of our current CLUBLIFE programming (with the exception of our Campership Program) is funded through Jackson County millage dollars. We are incredibly grateful for that support, and we strongly encourage our community to continue supporting and voting for the millage when it appears on the ballot. Those funds make so much of what we do possible.

At the same time, we believe it's important to be proactive.

The CLUBLIFE Community Foundation was established to help create long-term funding stability for the future. Our goal is not to replace millage funding, but to supplement it and ensure that opportunities remain available regardless of future funding changes. Through donations, grants, sponsorships, and community support, we hope to build a sustainable foundation that can provide camperships, scholarships, and inclusive opportunities for years to come.

🎯 Our First Goal: 25 Founding Donors

We're not focused on a dollar amount right now—we're focused on building a community of supporters who believe in inclusion and opportunity for all. Whether your gift is $10, $25, $50, or more, every donation helps us move one step closer to a stronger, more sustainable future.

As we launch our very first fundraising campaign, we're asking our CLUBLIFE family, friends, community partners, and supporters to help us reach our goal of 25 Founding Donors.

Will you be one of them?

❤️ Donate Here:

Even if you're unable to donate today, sharing this post helps spread the word and supports our mission.

Thank you for believing in CLUBLIFE, the individuals we serve, and a future where everyone has the opportunity to connect, participate, and thrive.

🏀 What a Great Day at Gus Macker! 🏀

Today, our CLUBLIFE Hoop Groupers had an incredible opportunity to take the court and participate in the Gus Macker Dream Team Tournament! Watching our athletes compete, have fun, and experience the excitement of downtown Jackson was truly special.

We want to extend a HUGE thank you to Orthopaedic Rehab Specialists Physical Therapy for sponsoring our teams and helping make opportunities like this possible. Your support continues to create meaningful experiences for individuals with disabilities throughout our community.

We would also like to thank Cody Cole and Kyle Liechty with Gus Macker for their continued commitment to planning and supporting our CLUBLIFE exhibition games. Year after year, they have helped create an inclusive environment where our athletes can showcase their skills, build confidence, and be part of one of Jackson’s most beloved community events.

Most importantly, congratulations to our Hoop Groupers! Your energy, sportsmanship, teamwork, and smiles reminded all of us what sports are really about. We are so proud of each and every one of you!

Thank you to everyone who came out to cheer, support, and celebrate inclusion with us today. ❤️🏀
