Here's a recent kitchen/ pantry remodel that included moving laundry & mechanical rooms to accomplish. Fridge, microwave and wine cooler are in the pantry portion to keep the kitchen area clutter free.

Microhousing competition entry: The Qube. The Qube is designed to be a self-sufficient habitation module. Its minimal size (8'-6") conforms to federal highway standards for transportation. It generates its own electricity and collects its own water- both new and used. It accommodates the 3 main functions of a shelter: cooking/ sleeping/ bathing, and contains different rooms for each function, all within the same volume. To go from bedroom to bathroom or kitchen, you walk outside, flip the unit onto another face with the buil-tin winch and walk back in again. Simple.

Some images I never got around to posting, showing an original concept and some of the endless frustrating compromises made along the road to realization, and some of the consequences of those decisions.

The first prototype of 21 new benches headed for Grand Teton National Park gets delivered. We've also designed a similar set of benches for the Teton County Pathways Department.
