The Moose-Wilson Road is open to traffic from Granite to Moose, however…

There’s a ton of work being done in that area, both on the road and in Death Canyon. This means delays! Expect 45 minutes or more of added travel time.

We understand this is significant and appreciate everyone’s patience.

These delays will affect both drivers and cyclists alike.

Maybe its the perfect summer to explore new zones in Grand Teton National Park 👀

Time for an update!

Death Canyon Trailhead and the Death Canyon road are getting some major upgrades to prepare for the 100th anniversary of Grand Teton National Park in 2029.

Both the trailhead and the road are CLOSED all summer.

Death Canyon remains accessible from the Phelps Lake Trail however, parking is limited to the Laurance S. Rockefeller Preserve and Granite Canyon Trailhead.

The Moose Wilson Road is currently CLOSED from Moose to LSR Preserve, but it will open (with significant delays) on June 20th.

Keep checking the feed for these construction updates.
