🌟 Volunteer Spotlight: Kristen 🌟

Some volunteers ease their way in. Kristen hit the ground running.

She has been with Pitties & Pals for less than a year, but when we say she came in strong, we absolutely mean it. From dog walking several days a week to freedom rides, transports, events, and everything in between, Kristen is always ready to jump in and help wherever she is needed.

If there is a dog that needs an adventure, a ride, or a little extra love, chances are Kristen is already on her way.

And then there is her most important title of all… Queen of Pup Cups! 👑🍦

After events, Kristen makes sure the pups get to celebrate too. They always get special treat because the dogs know when Kristen is around, good things are coming.

Volunteers like Kristen are the heart of rescue. They show up, pitch in, and make a difference for dogs who need them most.

Thank you, Kristen, for your dedication, your kindness, and the joy you bring to both our volunteers and our dogs. We are so lucky to have you as part of the Pitties & Pals family. ❤️

🚨 MAGNOLIA “MAGGIE” CAN’T WAIT UNTIL AUGUST ANYMORE 🚨

We’ve found a surgeon who can perform Maggie’s surgery sooner but we need your help.

Maggie has cherry eye in both eyes and her condition is getting worse. She’s becoming increasingly uncomfortable, and surgery can no longer wait.

Originally, we planned to wait until the end of August, but Maggie now needs surgery within the next 2 weeks.

💔 Surgery Estimate: $3,206.28
🐾 Raised So Far: $1,113

We’re making progress, but we still have a long way to go.

If you’ve been thinking about donating, now is the time. Every dollar brings Maggie one step closer to the surgery she desperately needs.

🚨 Please help us get Major out of boarding and back where he belongs… in a home. ❤️

Sharing is caring! If you can’t foster or adopt, a simple share could help Major find the person he’s been waiting for.

Major is struggling. 💔

Boarding serves an important purpose. It allows us to save dogs from shelters, keep them safe, evaluate their needs, and learn what type of home will help them succeed. But it was never meant to be a long term solution.

Major has been patient. He attends events, meets people, and puts his best paw forward every chance he gets. Yet somehow, he keeps getting overlooked.

The truth is simple: Major needs what every dog deserves. A home of his own. A consistent routine. A person who will finally choose him.

Around 4 years old, Major came to us as a stray. In a home, he is a completely different dog. He is calm, affectionate, enjoys his walks, loves his toys and bones, and is happiest just hanging out with his people.

This handsome boy is looking for a quiet, structured home where he can finally exhale. A place where he can settle into a routine, enjoy a comfy bed, belly rubs, and know he is safe.

☀️ Meet your new adventure buddy for summer.

✔️ Neutered
✔️ Microchipped
✔️ Up to date on vaccines
✔️ Adoption fee fully sponsored

Major would do best as the only pet and in a home without small children.

🚨 URGENT FOSTER OR FOSTER TO ADOPT HOMES NEEDED🚨

We are looking for homes for these two adorable little dogs. They are NOT bonded and, because neither is altered yet, we would ideally like them placed separately.

☀️Sunny Male – 6 months old
Scottish Terrier/Yorkie mix

🌊Breezy - Female – 13 months old Yorkie mix

Used AI to remove the bars so it’s not a genuine picture.

We are being told they do well with other dogs and cats and are not overly yappy around other animals. We will be getting them vaccinated as soon as we pick them up.

Puppies need training, especially housebreaking and crate training. Even though they are littles they would benefit from basic commands and excellent puppy etiquette.

📍 Foster and foster to adopt homes must be within 60 minutes of Jackson, NJ.

Requirements:
✔ Vet check
✔ Home check
✔ Resident dogs must be spayed/neutered
✔ Resident dogs must be current on vaccines

Please contact your veterinarian BEFORE submitting an application to ensure your pets are up to date and that your vet has permission to complete a reference check. This helps avoid delays in processing applications.

These dogs are available as foster or foster to adopt. Any adoption will be made official once they are fully vetted, spayed/neutered, and up to date on vaccines.

We will provide the supplies and support needed for fostering. All we need is a safe and loving home.

These little ones need a place to land tonight. ❤️

✨ We are incredibly honored and grateful to have been selected as a recipient of a grant through the Pet Lovers’ Choice Awards benefiting Best Friends Animal Society.

This grant will help us continue our mission of saving lives, providing medical care, and finding loving forever homes for dogs in need. Every dollar makes a difference, and this support means so much to our rescue and the animals who depend on us.

A heartfelt THANK YOU to everyone who made this possible — our amazing volunteers who work tirelessly behind the scenes, our wonderful alumni families who entered their adopted rescue pups into the competition, and every single follower, supporter, friend, and family member who took the time to vote.

Your belief in our mission, your encouragement, and your support remind us every day why we do what we do. This recognition belongs to all of you as much as it does to us.

Together, we are changing lives — one rescue at a time. ❤️🐾

🎉🐾 Happy Adoption News! 🐾🎉

Zeus, formerly known as Hopper from our Easter litter, is officially HOME! ❤️

We are so incredibly happy for this sweet boy as he begins the next chapter of his life with a family of his very own. From tiny puppy to beloved family member, this is exactly the happy ending we dream about.

A huge thank you goes out to his amazing foster for not only helping set Zeus up for success but also helping him find his forever family. We absolutely love when our fosters know someone looking to add a furry friend to their home. Those connections can be pure magic, and in Zeus’s case, they helped lead him right where he was meant to be.

Zeus has already stolen plenty of hearts along the way with his adorable face, playful personality, and puppy charm. Now he gets to spend his days making memories, getting spoiled, and enjoying all the love every puppy deserves.

Thank you to his wonderful family for choosing adoption and for trusting our rescue to be part of this journey. We know Zeus has a lifetime of adventures, belly rubs, toys, and snuggles ahead of him.

Happy life, sweet Zeus. We can’t wait to watch you grow up with your family. ❤️🐶

☀️🌻 Meet Jonathan 🌻☀️

At just 14 months old and 48 pounds, Jonathan is the perfect size for adventures, road trips, neighborhood walks, and lazy afternoons on the couch.

This handsome young guy has so much potential. He is smart, eager to learn, toy obsessed, and genuinely wants to be a good boy. He just needs someone willing to help him continue growing into the amazing dog we know he can be.

🐾 Dog okay
🐾 Doesn’t seem to mind cats
🐾 Walks beautifully on leash
🐾 Toy enthusiast and professional toy bin emptier 😂

Jonathan will soon be heading to a training program where he’ll continue working on basic commands, crate training, and polishing up his manners. We are incredibly excited for him because this boy loves to learn and thrives when he’s given direction and encouragement.

The truth is, Jonathan has spent too much time waiting. He’s at that fun age where his brain is eager for a job, a routine, and a family to call his own. Give him a little guidance and watch him shine.

His favorite pastime is pulling every toy out of the toy bin until he finds the perfect one. If there is fun to be had, Jonathan is all in.

This summer, we’d love nothing more than to see him enjoying backyard zoomies, evening walks, and family adventures instead of waiting for his chance.

❤️ Smart
❤️ Sweet
❤️ Fun loving
❤️ Full of potential

Now he just needs his people.
