Today at Cathedral we paused to celebrate Mental Health Awareness by wearing 💚. We were blessed to have Dr. Chasity Torrance as our guest speaker. She shared valuable information that educated, encouraged, and empowered our congregation to better understand the importance of mental health.
Mental health matters and seeking help is a sign of strength, not weakness. Together we can help break the stigma surrounding mental health and create a faith community of compassion, support, and healing.
May we continue to create safe spaces where people feel seen, heard, supported, and loved without judgment. Faith and professional support can work hand in hand to promote healing, growth, and restoration. 💚💚💚
