Hi friends! We’re Jordan and Karen Beachy, and we are honored to be stepping into this new chapter as the owners of JL Acres - now known as The Laurel.

First, we want to express our deepest gratitude to Chris and Tosha, who have been nothing short of amazing throughout this entire process. The love and dedication they have poured into this venue has created something truly special. The legacy they’ve built is inspiring, and we feel incredibly blessed to carry it forward. We know this place holds treasured memories for so many, and it is our greatest hope to continue nurturing that same spirit of joy, celebration, and connection.

A little about us: We’ve been married for 8 years, we have four sweet kids - 3 boys and a baby girl. We also own an event rentals business 731 Event Rentals LLC - we are excited to integrate the two for seamless, stressfree weddings and events. Owning a wedding venue has been a dream of our for years, so when this opportunity came along it felt like the Lord was opening a door we had once thought was closed. We’re stepping in with full hearts, ready to serve.

We named it The Laurel because we wanted something that felt meaningful, not just pretty. In the Bible, the laurel symbolizes victory, honor, and triumph which felt fitting for a wedding venue.
Marriage is such a beautiful picture of love and commitment, and we hope every couple that celebrates here feels the weight of that joy and triumph.
It also felt personal to us. This has been a dream in our hearts for years, and seeing it come to life is a beautiful reminder of God’s faithfulness. The laurel is a symbol of what He’s done and what’s to come.

We’re excited to continue hosting weddings, showers, reunions, and all the moments worth celebrating. Our goal is to preserve the warmth and welcoming spirit this venue is known for, while slowly adding our own touches along the way.

To everyone who has supported JL Acres over the years - thank you. We can’t wait to meet you, hear your stories, and be a small part of the beautiful moments still to come.
