Another successful event in the bag. A remix of Indoor Rock Climbing: Episode 1, this time at a new location with some fresh faces. More fears were challenged, more plastic was crimped, and more rope was handled !

One of the biggest perks of petsitting is being able to explore new areas. In this episode, and I explored Camano Island ! A small island, but an island nonetheless. The locals even wave at you as you drive by in true island form. A sleepy little getaway from the hustle and bustle of city life I'll say.

Well, rock climbing was a blast with this crew. We conquered some fears, learned some knots, and made some memories. This will obviously need to happen again for those who couldn't make it.

When life sends you on a 1,500 mile road trip across the United States, you might as well make it worthwhile with a few pit stops along the way. Photos truly don't do Antelope Canyon justice.

Hint: If you ever visit Antelope Canyon, there's a reason they suggest wearing a hat (we got more than a few jealous looks 🤠)

Although we only stayed in the Grand Canyon for three nights, we got the full experience. From surprise downpours to mule deer AND elk to the last of the prickly pear blossoms. Not bad for 's first National park experience ever.

Flashback to that one time we went to Memphis. Despite it being hot AF, we still had a great time exploring the vibes and rich history of Beale Street. Seeing Otis Redding's brass note was an unexpected treat too considering "Sittin' On The Dock Of The Bay" has always been my go-to karaoke song.

Pit stop in Austin on our journey west to visit - thank you SO much for the hospitality ! We packed it all into one day for sure 🥾👙🌳

Lessons learned during this first gorgeous but HOT AF hike in Arizona:

1. Start earlier. Like, butt crack of dawn early.
2. Invest in hiking boots and a sun hat for
3. Mentally prepare ourselves for the extreme heat.

All I can say is ... you're a trooper 😅🖤 We saw our first ever Gila Monster in the wild too ! I'd call that a win.
