Just in from a Snake River Headwaters Group meeting with Bureau of Reclamation discussing ramp down schedule out of Jackson Lake Dam.Very grateful for this group’s collaborative efforts with all stakeholders.

After a long, hot Summer where flows out of our Dam have been kept high(5K cfs) for irrigation demands downstream, flows are now going to allowed to naturally drop over the next 30 days. It’s predicted that this would only get flows down to 900cfs on their own, so BuRec I will make some adjustments the week of 9/21 to get to our Winter flow of 280cfs.

This is great news for our fishing! Let the bite begin…
