Pictured is the new pumper truck that has been outfitted by the Hales Tank Service team. It only took us 2 years (see previous post) to build this unit, but as of today, it has been inspected and approved by the Mississippi Department of Health and is ready to put into service and meet the needs of our customers. Thank you all again for your loyal support! Happy Mardi Gras! Laissez les bons temps rouler! 🍀 Happy Spring, give us a call at 601.366.4742 when spring cleaning begins at your house.
I purchased $50 worth of diesel fuel from the Shell station in Flora at 7:45 this morning, 2-22-21, in one of my pump trucks. This was because the Sunoco on Hwy. 49 was closed due to ice storm damage. Approximately nine miles down the road, my truck starting having power issues and blowing white smoke out the exhaust stack. After having to go to the shop and drain that $50 worth plus the other 47 gallons I had in my truck and going to the parts store to purchase $56.87 worth of fuel filters, I finally got my truck back on the road. I had to contact three of my customers that were having septic problems due to the ice storm and let them know we were running behind due to bad fuel. We contacted the Shell station this afternoon, only to be told no manager was available.
All this to say, you folks who burn diesel in your trucks, beware of the fuel sold at the Shell station in Flora next to Bumpers.

Another replacement wastewater system using an Aqua-Safe pre-tank and a 750 gpd ATS system. This customer had been having problems out of his old system for quite some time and decided to go with a new system. When we dug up the old tank we found the front of the tank had cracked and was allowing dirt and mud to block the incoming waste. Consequently, this was causing the spray pump to fail on a regular basis.
All fixed up and ready to go now!
It is hard to believe after months of dealing with Covid-19 isolation and restrictions that we are only 3 weeks away from Labor Day. We have worked long days and many hours a week to service our customers' needs (even in this overbearing heat!) Give us a call at 601.366.4742 as you prepare for the last summer holiday weekend and fall cleanup, if you need help with your septic system. Thank you for your continued support. Stay well, stay healthy, stay happy!
