Every summer we get a few questions that come up again and again, especially as families settle into break and start thinking ahead for the school year. We wanted to share a quick refresher in one place in case it helps.

❓Who can attend Harbor Day School?
💬Harbor Day School serves children from birth through age six with special needs. We are a school, not a camp or daycare, and our days are built around early intervention, education, and therapy in a Christ-centered environment.

❓Are there any available spots for next school year?
💬We do have a waitlist. If you are interested in learning more or beginning that process, you can complete a waitlist application on our website or call our team. We are always glad to talk with you and help you take the next step.

❓Where is Harbor Day School located?
💬 We are located inside Christ United Methodist Church in Jackson, Mississippi, and we are grateful for their partnership in making this space possible for our students.

❓How much does it cost to attend Harbor Day School?
💬 Despite accepting no government or state funding, Harbor Day School remains a tuition-free, Christ-centered school. Every child is welcomed, known, and supported at no cost to families, made possible through the generosity of our community.

A little glimpse into life at Harbor Day School this week. 💙

From language groups and occupational therapy to coloring, exploring, learning, and playing, every moment is an opportunity for growth. Our classrooms are filled with hard work, encouragement, creativity, and plenty of joy along the way.

"I praise You because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Your works are wonderful, I know that full well." Psalm 139:14

This verse is at the heart of our mission at Harbor Day School.

We believe every child is fearfully and wonderfully made by God. Each student has unique gifts, strengths, and purpose because they were created intentionally by Him.

That belief changes the way we see our students. We don't focus on limitations. We celebrate milestones, encourage growth, and help each child discover what they are capable of accomplishing.

Every child who walks through our doors is a wonderful work of God, and it is our privilege to love, teach, and support them each day. ❤️
