Every week, we ask for donations for our Soup Kitchen. But do you know just how much food we utilize in the kitchen every week? 🤔

Basic supplies used in a seven-day period:
☕️ Coffee: 57 gallons
🥫 Canned Veggies: 540lbs
🍨 Sugar: 15lbs
🧋 Creamer: 10.5lbs
🍴 Forks: 1,642

This is just a sampling of how many commonly used items we go through in a week.

The Soup Kitchen is open 365 days a year, rain or shine, holidays included. All so we can continue to provide hot meals for hungry individuals and families!

The donations we receive every week make a massive difference in our ability to reach out with the love of Christ by providing physical and spiritual nourishment.

RIFA is excited to announce Canstruction 2026: An Evening with Shawn Reynolds presented by Foundation Bank! 🤩

As seen on tour with Tim Hawkins, Shawn Reynolds is a nationally touring comedian whose Dry Bar Comedy special has amassed MILLIONS of views. He has headlined multiple tours including the MidWest Clean Comedy All-Stars Tour and the UpStanding Comedy Tour in Canada. He has appeared on TBN, CircleTV, locally on ABC & NBC, was a finalist in Chicago’s National “Clean Comedy Challenge” and he’s the WINNER of the “Funniest Comic East of the Mississippi” competition. He’s also the founder of “Stand-Up For Adoption”; a comedy benefit series that has raised thousands for families trying to adopt children with special needs.

🤔 HOW CAN I GET INVOLVED?

Opportunities are available for sponsorships, structure-building teams, full table purchases, and balcony tickets. Your sponsorship directly contributes to RIFA’s eight hunger-fighting ministries. In return, we offer several recognition opportunities to highlight your generosity, including stage presence, social media shoutouts, logo recognition on print materials, giveaway entries, etc.

Yesterday, we hosted one of our biggest volunteer groups to date: 80+ people! This awesome crew is the youth choir from Thomasville Baptist Church. In just a few hours, they packed Snack Backpacks and Senior Staples, accepted donations, helped in the Thrift Store, served in the Soup Kitchen, worked on Community Outreach projects, and even performed a song for our patrons in the Soup Kitchen!
