When your veterinarian comes out to your barn for a colicking horse, you may have seen her use a stethoscope to listen to your horse's abdomen. Your vet is listening for borborygmi, colloquially called gut sounds, which can tell her a lot about what is causing your horse's discomfort.

When a horse is experiencing digestive upset, the presence, character, and type of gut sounds changes. Sounds may be absent, more frequent, higher-pitched, or echoing.

Low-pitched gurgling and rumbling gut sounds can be heard constantly in a normal horse. Practice listening to each quadrant of the abdomen when your horse is healthy, so you know what is normal for him/her.

First winter mix storm of the season... everyone is all snug with there hay and warm stalls

Happy Thanksgiving to all our family and friends! All our guys are happy enjoying there hay and friends...

Please all stay safe out there and keep your 4 legged best friends safe! Due to this we will be forgoing any shows until things have calmed down!

The girls had a fun fantastic day

.ella13 and her new Mare Dolly went to there 1st show. We went with the goal of getting over everything and navigating the jumper course with her new baby and they went above and beyond!! Each course they got bolder and braver. Watching them accomplish just this was amazing but to come home Grand Champion was icing on the cake!!

and Beanie boy did an amazing job in the hopefuls!! She continues to help him grow and gain more and more confidence over the bigger fences. They nailed down beautiful courses. They came home with two 1st in the over fences a 3rd and took 2nd in the hack!! They also brought home Grand Champion!!

and Beanie were last to go and worth the wait. Charlotte has been busy with dance now that it started but has been working and focusing hard on the days that she does ride on what her and her boy need to do. They did a great job navigating some minor things and came home with two 1st, two 2nds and a 3rd giving them Grand Champion as well!!

The girls rocked this show! Congrats to them and there amazing ponies!!!

We are also happy to have potato and his mom here while he continues to heal!! We love this big guy!!

Late post but congrats to this amazing group of young riders and all there accomplishments and earning there place at the colonial classic last weekend!! Both girls and there pony earned ribbons in all there classes wirh tough competition!

Charlotte earned reserve champion out of 20+ riders in her one divison and then came home with a 2nd and 3rd in the next which she only did the two classes.

Eva showed our green bean in the green ponies against some nice ponies and came home with a 7th and 8th in the over fences and took 2nd in the hack out of 17 ponies.

We also got to hang out and support Charlotte's show bestie Rose and Abigail! Who also rocked it in there large classes with ribbons also!!

We cant wait till the next time we have an away show with everyone!!

Boarding available. We currently have one stall available as well as field board available. Perfect for someone who rides wants to show or just your best friend looking for some where to retire. Owners live on property and care for each horse/pony as if it were our own!!

Spacious 10x12 stalls, comfortstall flooring, helps support joints for your athletic partner. Fans for those super hot days. Stalls and fields are cleaned 2x daily, waters done daily, ample hay, grain 2x daily. Smaller riding ring as well as large jump ring with brand new jumps. We have 80 acres of trails that we back up too.

Lessons, and showing available. We show at local shows as well as HITS, WEC, Devon and many others. Showing and lessons not mandatory.

We can make all vet and farrier appointments if needed and be available to hold assist if needed or you are welcomed to as well!

We are like a big family and love each and every person and horse/pony that we have come join our amazing family!!!

Come Aug 1st we will have a very rare stall available!!! 10x12 stalls with hay racks, comfort stalls flooring, stalls/ field cleaned 2x daily, ample hay, grain 2x daily waters done daily and troughs cleaned every other day! Every one is treated as if they are our own! Smaller riding ring and larger jump ring with new jumps.

We has a great but extremely long day at Devon this past weekend. We took beanie and his large counter part potato came along for the trip. It was a great day for learning and lots of growth and positive experiences!!!
