Let's talk shot placement ...... did you get ALL your meat well in this case thats a hard NO this is a rear ham with the bone shattered the meat surrounding the area is blood shot and not good, I will salvage what is possible to salvage , but this is one of the largest parts of meat on a deer ... Shot placement is key for a good amount of meat harvest . If your rushed wait ....if its a bad angle ... wait ... or this is the cost of a hurried decision and a waste of meat .
Honor your harvest by making good shot placement and being able to use as much of it as possible and avoid the waste of bad shooting!
