Optimal Care is excited to celebrate Susie Edwards, sole winner of the 2026 Memory Care Innovation Award for Hospice and Palliative Care!

Susie’s compassion, patient-centered care, and dedication to our Therapy for Dignity Program make her truly deserving of this honor. Her work transformed an unproven concept into a sustainable, outcome-driven program that improves safety, reduces fall risk, and enhances the quality for memory patients.

CEO Joe Mead had the honor of personally presenting Susie with her award, and we couldn’t be more grateful for everything she brings to our team and to the patients and families we serve.
