Free Admission for the month of August!

The museum has received a generous donation from an anonymous donor to provide free admission for the entire month of August(or until funds run out). Come by the museum this month to enjoy our galleries and the Hurst Planetarium.

It is with these philanthropic acts that ensures we can continue our mission to provide high quality art and history programming to the Jackson community. If you or your organization would like to make a donation for free admission please reach out.

The 2024 TOPIA festival will feature a collaborative art piece made from public submissions. Everyone from the community is invited to participate.

When the submissions are gathered and displayed at the festival on September 5–7, you'll get to see your own dreams illuminated alongside hundreds of others.

Registration is OPEN for our upcoming summer programs! Check out Rachael’s Rosie’s: A Trades Exploration Camp for Girls! 👩🏾‍🔧👷🏻‍♀️👩🏼‍🏭👩🏽‍💻

During this three day camp, students will be introduced to Industrial Safety, Welding, Woodworking, Electrical Circuitry and Soldering. Explore the trades under the guidance of our staff, and become a real-life Rosie! All materials, PPE, t-shirt and snacks are included. Class is open to students in 3rd grade and up. Located in Jackson, MI. ✋
