We'd love to have you join us at this month's Jackson Mental Health Professionals meeting! Dr. Britt will be speaking on the neurobiology of trauma and how to work WITH our bodies rather than against them in that process. Virtual attendance is possible, and CEUs will be made available.

Three of our therapists traveled to Memphis, TN to attend the Midsouth Annual Trauma and Addiction Conference sponsored by Hope Enrichment Center.

Our third new team member is Maria McCaskill, LPC/MHSP. Maria’s experience includes working with children, teens, and adults in outpatient, intensive outpatient, and hospital settings. She has been trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). Maria is available to work with individuals of all ages and has a special interest and training in helping clients with trauma, suicidal ideations, and self-harm. Her passion and dedication make her a perfect fit for our team!

The second recent addition to our team is Alex McCandless LPC/MHSP. He came to us from
Nashville, where he served as a clinical supervisor and is available to work with adults teens and children. Alex provides therapy to individuals, couples, families, and groups. He has specialized training and experience in postpartum depression, anxiety, and trauma, as well as all types of infertility and pregnancy loss, including recovery after abortion. He is also trained in Eye Movement and Desensitization (EMDR). Alex helps those healing from church hurt and business professionals seeking work-life harmony. Join us in welcoming Alex-we can’t wait for you to meet him!

We are super excited and grateful to have three new therapists at ReEnvision Counseling! We’d like to share a little about each one individually. First, we have Taylor Bowling, MFT-I. Taylor specializes in couples, families, and individuals. Her hope for working with clients is to create a safe space for emotional connection. She is trained in EMDR, Prepare/ Enrich, TBRI, andTF-CBT. We are thrilled to have her join our team and look forward to the positive impact she will bring to our community!
