We’re here to help.
We assist with housing relocation, food, school & college funding, clothing, transportation, & job/ career transitioning for victims.

September was a month of community collaboration, education, and impact for G.F. TeleVet! 💜💙

This month, we partnered with Butterflies by Faith Defined by Grace for a mental health awareness event and joined the WIN Job Center in McComb to provide mental health and social service resources to members of our community.

Our Program Director also successfully disseminated the findings of a project titled, “Enhancing Early Detection of Su***de Risk in Outpatient Settings Through Standardized Implementation of the Ask Su***de-Screening Questions (ASQ) Tool,” with the goal of supporting outpatient clinical staff in the early identification of su***de risk through standardized use of the ASQ.

Through our community outreach efforts this month, we had the opportunity to educate more than 90 individuals on su***de prevention, violence prevention, mental health, and resources available within the community in less than 30 days.

As Su***de Prevention Month comes to an end, our commitment does not. The month may be ending, but the work in our community is just beginning!

Join Sunshine Ministries for its Parents & Caregivers Monthly Exceptional Support Group on Saturday, September 5, 2026, from 11:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m. at the Lawrence County Library.
This month’s topic is Mental Health. Our Program Director will be one of the guest speakers to discuss mental illness in children, adolescents, & adults, available treatment and support options, and ways families and caregivers can support a loved one experiencing mental health challenges.
The discussion will also focus on reducing the stigma surrounding mental illness and reminding families that seeking help is a sign of strength.
Come connect, ask questions, share experiences, and learn about resources that can help individuals and families in our community. Hope to see you there!
