The NYSLTAP - Cornell Local Roads Program provides training, technical assistance, and information to municipal officials and employees responsible for the maintenance, construction, and management of local highways and bridges in New York State. It is one of 51 Centers established under the Local Technical Assistance Program (LTAP) of the Federal Highway Administration.

Joe was recently recognized for his outstanding commitment to professional training and education after attending his 20th Annual School for Highway Superintendents at Ithaca College.
The annual Highway School brings together more than 700 highway and public works officials from across New York State to receive training, exchange ideas and explore ways to make local roads safer and more cost-effective.

This invite is extended to all town officials, village officials, county officials and anyone who is interested in obtaining their CDL, already has their CDL and/or is interested in a job in local government!
Join us for a hands-on trucking simulator experience to see what it might be like to work in a municipal highway department!
The event is free to attend; bagels, coffee, and donuts will be provided.
