I’ve been pouring my energy into a new community mural in Ithaca, NY called Teach Me How to Fly. This project brought together children, families, and neighbors during community paint days, and the design reflects the voices of our local youth along with Ithaca’s natural beauty.
Public art transforms spaces and creates connection. This mural is my way of celebrating resilience, creativity, and community.

We are all interconnected—each other, nature, and all living beings. The love and care we give ourselves reflects in how we treat the world around us. We are here as stewards, guardians of our animals and this Earth. When we honor that role, the gifts returned are immeasurable. My beautiful Juniper—this song holds something spiritually profound, just like her. Since coming into my life, she’s improved it tenfold. When I first got her, she hid under the bed, traumatized from abuse by the Mennonites. But with love, patience, homemade meals, and constant companionship, she’s blossomed. Now she goes everywhere with me, and even lets strangers pet her sometimes.
