Welcome everyone! I am so excited to begin this journey with A Paw Above! We are finalizing the last few things before we open for business. In the meantime, I will be posting updates here. Please follow along as I can not wait to get pups on my grooming table again.

I want to start off by thanking all of our amazing clients who have supported us for the last 7 years. This has been such an extremely fun and rewarding experience for us, but Karina and I have made the incredibly difficult decision to close IthaPaws. Please understand that this was one of the hardest decisions we have ever had to make, but at this point in our lives it is the right one. We have bonded with each and every pup who has walked in our doors and it has been so difficult to say goodbye. We hope that we have made as much of an impact in your lives as you have in ours. We are so thankful to have met all of you!
Our last day of business will be March 26, please be patient with us as we sort through our client list and make calls to those of you who have appointments throughout the rest of the year. We are doing our best to accommodate everyone in this short amount of time.
There is some good news! Our groomer Shelby who has been with us for the last 5 years will be opening her own salon! We will be reaching out to everyone who is interested with her business name and telephone number as soon as we can to make this as smooth of a transition as possible.

If your pet is in need of a rabies shot, register for the Health Department's free drive-through Rabies Clinic to be held on Saturday, April 24 or Saturday, May 22 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

No January rabies clinic! Free rabies clinic is this weekend. Got a dog, cat, or ferret? The Tompkins County Health Department and SPCA of Tompkins County are teaming up to offer another free rabies vaccination clinic on Saturday, October 24. The Health Department says a planned clinic in late January will not take place this winter.
