We have some sad news for FALCON and IMPAC alumni. Jim Hardesty, artist and teacher, passed away recently. From 1999 to 2014, Jim inspired Chinese FALCON and IMPAC students with his instruction and performance of Chinese art and calligraphy. His talent, dedication, and spirit will be greatly missed. There will be a memorial service for him this coming Saturday, July 24, at 7 p.m. at the Ithaca Farmer’s Market, where he sold his artwork for many years.
We regret to announce that IMPAC will not be running in 2016.
If you are a Cornell student, please see the following web page for information on Cornell’s regular Chinese courses: http://www.lrc.cornell.edu/asian/courses/chinese.
Many thanks to all who participated in the program these past few years!
