The Economic Impact of Finger Lakes ReUse on Tompkins County Curator’s Note: Finger Lakes ReUse (FLR) has been growing in response to community demand (40% increase in donation drop-offs each year, for 10 years!), without enough resources to keep up.

The waiting is officially over. The Cayuga ReUse Center is open for shoppers today at the Cayuga Shopping Center (2309 N. Triphammer Road) with clothing, books, household goods, furniture, electronics, and all kinds of unexpected discoveries.

A new thrift store is exciting and confusing.

You might come in for a lamp and leave with a lamp, three books, a jacket, and a story.

The wait is (almost) over!

The Cayuga ReUse Center opens Monday, June 15th at 2309 N. Triphammer Road in the Cayuga Shopping Center.

Shop furniture, housewares, clothing, electronics, books, tools, building materials, and more in our largest retail space yet.

The first 50 shoppers through the door receive a 15% off coupon.

Please note: Donations will not be accepted at the Cayuga ReUse Center at opening. Donations are still accepted at Ithaca ReUse Center, 214 Elmira Road, Fridays through Mondays from 10 AM to 4 PM.

Saturday, May 30th is the final day the ReUse MegaCenter will be open for shopping at its current location, so don’t miss the chance to stop by before the move. We can’t take it with us, but you can take it with you!

Starting Thursday, May 28th, everything in the store is 90% off.* Furniture, household items, building materials, electronics, clothing, shoes, accessories, movies, music, and more—it all has to go.
