Today is the American Institute for Conservation’s Day when we answer frequently asked questions about how our Cornell University Library Conservation staff cares for our books, documents, and photographs.

Cornell University Library staff and Cornell students are invited to our Open House Thursday March 16 from 4:15 to 6:00 pm.

Cornell University Library Conservation held a great session on East Asian Binding for Cornell University Library staff at Albert R. Mann-Library. Participants learned about volumes in CUL's collections and made their own beautiful books with decorative paper covers, Xuan paper text blocks, sewn with paper twists and bound with thread. Thank you to Library Forum for organizing this session and the upcoming April session.
