Project Generations: A Friendly Visiting Program
Project Generations is a friendly visiting service that enriches older adults' and volunteers' lives by bridging the gap between the generations.
Students members of the organization are paired with an older adult in the Ithaca, NY area with whom they visit for about an hour each week. Volunteers help to fulfill seniors’ personal and functional needs by providing mental stimulation, companionship, social support, and/or light housework.
