Ask your fabricator if they added a little breathing room around drill points for material expansion.

Torture Testing the Cheap vs the Expensive
VARIABLE SPEED ROTARY TOOLS
Harbor Freight's tool performed pretty well and for the money $25.00 we're going to give it a try. On the hi-end, the Dremel tool at around $125.00 is likely the better tool for professional use.
Check out the video. They do a tool drop test at 2 different heights. Interesting test results.
