🌱Alyssa Rodriguez a.k.a. the Fiddle Witch spellbinds listeners on the nyckelharpa, the Nordic keyed folk fiddle, in performances infusing the fire of fiddle with the elegance and grace of classical music. 

The Fiddle Witch spawned in Rochester, New York in October 2019 at The Spirit Room and captivates audiences with dark Scandinavian folk music on an ancient instrument. She has honed her craft at the Sibelius Academy in Helsinki, Finland and the Eric Sahlström Institute in Tobo, Sweden and plays music for listening rooms and for folk dancing. The Fiddle Witch, a.k.a. Alyssa Rodriguez, performs traditional and original music from her travels on Swedish nyckelharpa (keyed fiddle). She regularly sells out  her Fiddle Witch show at Rochester Fringe Festival (2022, 2024, and 2025) and headlined the Jamestown Scandinavian Festival in 2022 and American Swedish Institute’s Midwinter Festival in 2023.
