Wow—Ithaca, you’ve shown up big time this year, and we’re feeling the love! Hejira has been on fire lately, and it’s all thanks to YOU—our amazing community of music lovers, dancers, dreamers, and world rhythm seekers.

From packed venues to spontaneous dance floors, your energy fuels every note we play. We’ve been busy, yes—but every show has felt like a celebration because of the incredible people who come out to support us. Whether you’ve caught us once or you’re riding the Hejira wave with us all year long, we’re beyond grateful.

So here’s a heartfelt THANK YOU for making our journey so vibrant, soulful, and unforgettable. We can’t wait to keep sharing the groove with you—stay tuned, because the best is yet to come!

🎶 ANNOUNCEMENT TO OUR FANS 🎶

Hey everyone,

After much reflection (and a few hilarious failed attempts), I’ve officially returned to my original band name from 25 years ago—HEJIRA. It’s the name I started with back in Seattle, and it still carries the spirit and soul of the music I love to make.

I know many of you have been following us as Disguised as Humans, and I’m so grateful for your support through all the phases, faces, and sounds. But some things—like old band names—just refuse to stay buried. And maybe that’s a good thing.

So from here on out, we’re flying under the name HEJIRA once again.
