đżâ¨ Today we remember Dr. Jane Goodall (1934â2025).
She wasnât just a primatologist. She was a storyteller, an advocate, and a role model who proved that science has soul. đ
At 26, she stepped into the forests of Gombe and showed the world that chimpanzees laugh, hug, fight, forgive â and that the line between humans and animals is thinner than we thought.
Her work inspired generations of women to see that we belong in science. To be curious. To be courageous. To believe our voices can change the world.
Thank you, Jane. Your legacy of hope lives on.

đżđ§ STEM is everywhere. Itâs in the way water flows, the way leaves fall, and the balance that holds it all together. Sometimes it looks like equations on a whiteboard, and sometimes⌠it looks like peace. â¨

As a kid, I led my friends on nature walks, flipped over rocks to find bugs, and hunted for fossils in creek beds. That love for the planet led me to a degree in environmental scienceâand today, Iâm using science storytelling to celebrate the women shaping our sustainable future. đż
This Earth Day, Iâm spotlighting four incredible women in STEM who are protecting our planet in powerful, creative waysâincluding ocean advocate Dr. Ayana Elizabeth Johnson, water protector Autumn Peltier, climate communicator Dr. Katharine Hayhoe, and soil scientist Dr. Jane Zelikovaâplus a little feature from yours truly, Redhead STEMinist Nancy Coddington đââď¸
