We desperately need help 😞
2 cats needed dentals, Al had to have entropian surgery and Rusty needed his toe amputated... today just about zeroed us and almost left us bankrupt and we have a feral clinic tomorrow...
If you wouldn't mind helping us spay a stray the cost is $55, however the donate doesn't get sent to us for 30-45 days so PayPal or Venmo is the best way. Thank you all so much!

This was my Sunday night 😭

I received a call at 8:33 last night while I was out for ice-cream about a cat limping.
She, again, got my number from animal control and desperately wanted help for this poor baby.
They somehow managed to get him into a carrier and I managed to get him into Urgent Veterinary Care at 10:25...
After 4am I got the call from the wonderful vet, and it wasn't good...
Shattered necrotic open pelvic wound loaded with maggots...
But this picture is how I want to remember him...

Just a feral in a trailer park with god knows how many others that was overlooked for days while he suffered, I can't even imagine the pain...
This sucks...
This sucks because he suffered out there for days if not weeks trying to survive...
This sucks to whoever hit him didn't even care...
This sucks that others in the park witnessed this for days and didnt do a fu***ng thing...
This sucks that a grown ass man in a black truck pulled up and threw a shoe at him (witnessed by the finder)...
This sucks that no one else will answer these calls...
This sucks because when I was there in 5 minutes I saw at least a dozen cats and kittens and 2 dogs running loose, god know exact amounts...
This sucks because if this was a dog people would have rallied to help...
This sucks that he was born to suffer, so the kindest thing was to end his pain 😭

And then there is the bill we have to still pay...

This sucks while other rescues are just taking in cute kittens and leaving the adults to suffer...
This sucks because it has zeroed out our bank accounts so we cant help anymore...
This sucks because not only is this all volunteer run we also don't get the funding and grants shelters do...
please please anything helps 😭

In memory of this sweet boy, please find it in your hearts to help us help them πŸ’”

Run free baby, no more pain 😭

Hello all.

Hans here, I just wanted to jump on and say a huge thank you to everyone for donating to help me and my mama and sister start feeling better. The medicine is helping a lot.

However, we have to take the medicine for 84 days and our foster mom said it's really expensive. She also said that we are over $800 away from covering the vet bill for us.

So if there is any way that we could get some more donations mom (Brigid), sis (Teenie) and I would be very grateful! We like feeling better so much we even started playing again. 😺😻

Thank you again for all of your help! We love our supporters!!
Love Hans! 😻

The hits, and the tears, just keep coming. I am saddened to have to share this news. Brigid and her babies have been having a very hard time with their health. We even lost our poor sweet Prince. The illness hit fast and our sweet boy was too small to fight it off. Currently Brigid, Teenie, and Hanz are being treated for an infection and possible FIP. Brigid is also being treated for possible Diabetes. We hope it is just due to the infection. 🀞 Please keep this little family in your thoughts. Fortunately Franz and Sploot have not been affected and have been staying at another foster home until we can get their mama and siblings healthy. There have been four visits to the vets office, including an emergency run, as well as multiple medications, equalling $984 plus meds. With all that these babies and their mama still have a long way to go.

That all said, this has drained any contingency funds the rescue had in reserve. We are running on empty and quite frankly desperate. Please help in ANY way you can. Even $1 is not too small an amount. It all adds up. If you can't afford to donate PLEASE share!!

I just wanted to take a moment to thank all of you who donated, shared, and prayed with us for Sweet Cupid πŸ’”
But sadly I have devastating news I am still trying to process myself... what we thought was an injury turned out to be cancer in her jaw...she couldn't even close her mouth, much less eat...

This very sweet lovely girl was obviously someone pet...
Thrown out like trash when she needed her family the most πŸ’”

I fell in love, I held her, kissed her, and told her she was the most beautiful girl in the world as she left her body behind...
then came the tears...and the 5am drive home...just 9 hours of rescue...

But finding out so many of you loved, prayed, donated, shared, and where there in spirit it what keeps me going...
so much love in such a cruel world...

I also need to extend a huge thank you we are forever in your debt praise to Habitat for Cats NY for sharing her while I was in route to Cornell, while every other rescue wouldn't answer or were full...we are too but still had to do something...and to Jocelyn Mills , the one who reached out for help while neighbors just turned a blind eye, she was loved...so very loved πŸ’”

Fly high Sweet Cupid, we meet again...

😭😭😭 !!!INCOMING!!! 😭😭😭

And this just tore what's left of my heart to pieces πŸ’”
Yesterday's I got a call shortly after I woke up...a mother cat dragging her back end, with 3 precious babies...
Robert and I went right there, with his help I was able to secure the mom and her wee ones...
I was calling vets even before we laid eyes on her...8 offices in total, no one could see her...
On my way to emergency our favorite vet called us up, a kitten not even a day old...
She met us in a beautiful park by the canal, and it was found that momma had absolutely no feeling in her back legs...most likely hit by a car...
Just before we eased her suffering I promised her I would take care of her babies...when we arrived she was nursing them trying to protect them in such an evil world... 😭😭😭

Rest easy Daisy, please take care of your new heavenly babies and I promise to take care of yours πŸ’”πŸ’”πŸ’”

I have a devastating update on the 2 kittens we took in Saturday that I am still trying to process 😭
After 1 of them passed I took them both to Urgent Veterinary Care and it was discovered they both had cleft pallets, in the Doctors words "the size of the Grand Canyon" along with numerous birth defects...
What hurts more than anything is their poor mama...not only being forced to give birth at such a young age, but to watch her 4 babies slip into a forever sleep...I can't even begin to imagine what she feels right now...
I did make a promise to her that she will never endure that pain ever again...
This should not have happened...
This is why we need your help now, to prevent tragedies like this. Sadly we know it will, but every spay and neuter can help this from happening again...
Still trying to recover from Wilbur, emotionally and financially, I am grateful for everyone who has donated...but we need help more than ever...thank you all 😭
Sleep well babies knowing we are trying...
