A new 3D printer is coming to the King County Library System Federal Way Makerspace, thanks to a generous donation secured by a local Eagle Scout!
Drop in for a 3D Printer Build Party on Tuesday, May 26, from 5–7:30pm at the Federal Way Library. See the new printer get assembled, watch 3D printing in action, ask questions, and make something to take home while supplies last.
This program is made possible by the KCLS Foundation. Registration not required.

Last week, King County Library System staff took part in Microsoft’s Campus Connection Day, where they had the chance to meet employees and talk about library resources.
They shared information on everything from Makerspace and Study Zone to online tools like Libby, Udemy, and LinkedIn Learning. It was a fun way to introduce people to services they may not realize are available through the library.
Thanks to Microsoft for bringing people together and making space to highlight resources across campus.

Has the library made a difference in your life?
For so many people, libraries are more than buildings. They are places of refuge, discovery, connection, and opportunity.
In these final hours of Library Giving Day, we’re asking for your help. Your gift supports programs and services that keep libraries welcoming and accessible for all, including resources like Welcoming Centers that help connect people to information, support, and community.
If the library has mattered to you, now is a meaningful time to give back.
