CLOSED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE

As we mentioned this past weekend, Sandra injured her wrist. Turns out, she fractured it pretty badly and is expected to get surgery this week. Until we can get things rolling again at Xochi, we will be closed. In the meantime, we are working on being able to give a reopen date soon!

We are happy to announce that we are back open Tuesday, Sept. 2nd!

Since the start of Xochi in 2018, we’ve been lucky enough to not have to close this long up until now. Sadly, tragedies are inevitable. Humberto, an essential team member of Xochi, Sandra’s husband, and Valeria’s dad, passed away. We used this time away to make some personal and operational changes all while prioritizing healing. At the end of the day, we are just humans behind the business. Thank you to everyone who reached out with support and patience. We felt the love ❤️

I found myself over in Issaquah and noticed I was right next to the Xochi taco truck, which has been on my list of places to try for a long time. I’m glad I did. The tacos were great, top to bottom. I especially enjoyed the chicharrón and the broccoli.
