What a beautiful evening at Maple Valley’s Pride in the Park! The joy was felt all around with live music, booths, food trucks, and community. It was so wonderful to see Maple Valley Councilmember Victoria Schroff, Commissioner of Public Lands Dave Upthegrove, Elect Lisa Callan, Elect Zach Hall, Senator Victoria Hunt, Maple Valley Mayor Sean P. Kelly, and King County Dems Chair Beth Ferandin Bazley. Happy Pride, Maple Valley! 🌈

🎉 Spring Fundraiser a Huge Success!🎉

What a night! Thanks to an incredible turnout, our Spring Fundraiser exceeded expectations and brought together friends, supporters, elected officials, and community leaders from across the district. Guests had the chance to connect with candidates running for office — including many of the judicial candidates who joined us for the evening.

We were honored to hear from King County Executive Girmay Zahilay, whose inspiring vision for the future of King County energized the crowd. Our MC for the evening was the “Bearded Drag Queen from Seattle,” Maya Mem Saab. Her banter, songs, dances, and sparkle kept us smiling and laughing all evening.

The evening was packed with great company, food and drinks; as well as lively games, a spirited dessert dash, and a fast-paced auction — all in support of our endorsed candidates.

A HUGE THANK YOU to the many people who donated their time, talent, and energy to make this event possible!

The Zoom call opens Wednesday at 6:45 pm for socializing with the business part of the meeting starting promptly at 7pm.

At this meeting we'll:
-hear who filed during Filing Week
-get an update on the successes of the Spring Fundraiser
-find out who our May Volunteer of the Month is
-discover ways to volunteer at upcoming festivals and parades
-vote on candidates to endorse for upcoming elections

At this meeting our dedicated Endorsement Committee will make recommendations to the membership regarding who we should endorse. But it's up to our members to attend, vote and be engaged in the endorsement process!
