Digital Education: The journey from poverty towards a better life

Turn the Bus is a 501(c)(3) US-based non-profit organization, located in Greater Seattle Area, whose only mission is, to leverage the digital technology and deliver high-quality digital education to the underprivileged kids from the rural part of Bihar in India, by helping them to make a way towards a better life.
With the increasing Digitization in India, it is now possible for the underprivileged people from rural areas, to access vast educational resources available online. We believe, as online music and movies are a need of today's world, so is the education, that too delivered online.
Turn the Bus has signed a MoU with Jeevika, an initiative by the government of Bihar working towards the poverty alleviation in the state. Turn the Bus along with this organization will work together to implement digital education solutions. Jeevika is a community of 9 million women from low-income communities of Bihar, who are working together to uplift themselves from poverty. They are also the mothers of the children attending Government schools and colleges in Bihar. These women are now using smartphones to access videos and can also help their children by accessing high-quality online education.
