After a long break from drawing Vaasal Kolam, I managed to restart it today. Between being down with the flu and recovering and the stormy and cold weather, practice took a break. Happy to get it back on track. Happy Sri Rama Navami

A little bit of late post. This was the first painting for the advanced course of ‘Beyond the Brush’ by .simonds.watercolour . This was quite a challenge to paint. I love how her arms and hair turned out. Could have worked more on the shadows. But I learned a lot about my own style as I worked on this one.
