Our patented mixing process will solve any issues that may occur from the naturally occurring separation of the breast milk. Slight variations in texturing and swirling may occur naturally within the bead, but this is natural and adds to the unique quality of your finished memory piece.Ship only two (2) tablespoons of breast milk per each memory piece you are ordering, and it needs to be shipped in a securely sealed bag. The breast milk storage bags work best, and double bagging is advised. Manual extraction is best when collecting such a small amount of breast milk. Use a makeshift cardboard mailer when possible to also protect against punctures and spills during shipment. Please DO NOT send bottles or containers. They will usually leak, create a huge mess and may result in you being paid a visit from your friendly neighborhood homeland security. If you choose to send a bottle or container anyway, it will be discarded and not returned. IMPORTANT IMPORTANT IMPORTANT!!! As several orders come in per day, please be sure to somehow affix your name and order number (if applicable) to your shipment. When deciding to order your Boo Bees Memory piece, keep in mind that each piece is unique, just like you. Every sample of milk throughout the beading process turns out differently. There may be color variations, swirls of different shades. Your milk is thoroughly mixed during our processing activities, which usually begins solving any separations and uneven coloration. Boo BEE warned however, some milk tends to separate more than others. This persistent separation results in multi-toned memory pieces, that may manifest in your piece being bright white, cream colored, swirled spotted polka-dotted zig zagged. The result just depends on your individual sample, and the natural separation of fats as the milk goes through the curing process. Those variations are what make your memory piece unique to you and the color of the milk you send for your sample. If you want flawless smoothicity, buy a diamond. Please remember that what you take into your body may have a direct result on the color of the breast milk. These variables can be due to certain medications you may be taking, such as antibiotics, or the food you eat, such as foods with a lot of dyes. Bubbles. Resin naturally forms bubbles during the pouring process . When your unique milk Boo Beed is embedded in the resin, the two will react with each other, which may cause bubbling that may not normally occur when working with resin alone. We strive to limit the bubbles as best we can, but an occasional bubble may slip through. Once again, it is our contention that this adds to the uniqueness of your Boo Bees memory piece. Boo Beed milk shapes: Please look closely at the pictures on our page, and choose carefully. We will not remake your Boo Bees memory piece because you want a different shape, zoom in if necessary and examine carefully. Be specific when placing your order. Boo Beed Placement: The bead placement may vary from order to order, remember this is done by hand, not a machine. If you have a specific request as to the positioning of your Boo Beed, please leave specific directions in the message with your order. If no instructions are given, then the Boo Beed is placed at our discretion, and we will not remake due to lack of selection. To RECAP. Caring for your Boo Bees Memory piece. The milk Boo beed is placed within the resin, which makes it somewhat water resistant. But, you will want to keep your memory piece away from standing water or frequent water exposure. It is a memory piece of your breast feeding bond with your child, which you will not get the opportunity to get back if it gets damaged. So treat your Boo Bees memory piece like any piece of fine jewelry – take it off before showering, sleeping or visiting your local water park. It is also highly recommended that you keep your Boo Bees memory piece out of direct sunlight, as this could also have an effect on the coloration of the milk. Avoid exposure to extreme heat for the same reasons. EXTRAS. Be sure to carefully check all of the extras that are available when ordering your Boo Bees memory piece. These are extras by design and are NOT included in the original base price of your piece.
