Happy 100th Birthday to an extraordinary woman! Recently, Forefront Living CEO Tim Mallad and FL Board Chair Neil Foote visited Dr. Opal Lee, known as the "Grandmother of Juneteenth." The trio shared lunch and conversation at her home, where Dr. Lee graciously signed a copy of her book and a Barbie doll created in her likeness.

It was an honor to spend time with this iconic trailblazer and hear her amazing stories!

¡Viva Hispanic Heritage Month! St. Joseph Village celebrated Hispanic Heritage Month with plenty of music, movement, tasty treats, and fun! Residents shook and shimmied their maracas to lively Latin music, tested their knowledge with Hispanic Heritage trivia and enjoyed a delicious sampling of refreshments including Spanish flan, Sangria soda and a trio of Mexican dips with chips!

Congratulations to St. Joseph Village, Executive Director Kat Xiong for earning the “Gold Star”! Kat went above and beyond during the Forefront Living first budget review by staying on schedule, exceeding financial targets and bringing the details. Way to set the bar, Kat!

Longtime champions of early childhood development, the Millers have dedicated their lives to helping children and families thrive.
