A second wave of tryouts will be on Monday.

HELLO EVERYONE,

Dallas Parks and Recreation and Swim With a Splash are excited to offer private swim lessons this summer at Fretz Aquatic Center!

This event is designed to provide participants with high-quality, private, one-on-one swim instruction in a supportive and engaging environment.

Event Details:

Location: The Cove at Fretz (14778 Hillcrest Rd, Dallas, TX 75254)
Lesson Type: Private 1:1 swim lessons
Duration: 30-minute sessions
Cost: Lessons are free; however, there is a required $10 facility admission fee
Payment Methods: Cash or card accepted
Dates: June 1st, June 13th, June 22nd, June 29th, July 11th, July 13th
Target Audience: Ages 6-13 with prior swimming experience

This program is a great opportunity for swimmers of all levels to receive personalized instruction while enjoying a structured and safe aquatic environment.

O2 Splash Summer Swim Team Tryouts Are Almost Here.

Summer is right around the corner, and we are excited to welcome returning and new swimmers to the 2026 O2 Splash Summer Swim Team SEASON 4

Whether your child is looking to improve their skills, build confidence in the water, stay active this summer, or be part of a fun and supportive team, O2 Splash is a great place to grow as a swimmer and make lasting friendships.

Friday, May 29
The CORE Outdoor Pool
234 Parkway Blvd, Coppell, TX 75019

11 & Over — 7:00 AM
Swimmers must be able to swim a 50 of each stroke.

10 & Under — 8:00 AM
Swimmers must be able to swim 25 of each stroke.

If your swimmer cannot attend tryouts, they may still be evaluated on the first day of practice.

Season Dates
First Practice: Monday, June 1
Last Practice: Friday, July 24

All swimmers must be registered with USA Swimming before participating in practice.

Parents, please make sure swimmers arrive in appropriate swimwear for tryouts. Swimmers may wear a one-piece, two-piece, or jammers. For safety reasons, long shirts and pants are not allowed in the water.

Parents will remain behind the gate during evaluations so coaches can run tryouts smoothly and efficiently.

2026 Swim a Thon 2026 O2 Performance Aquatics annual fundraiser
USA SWIMMING SWIM-A-THON
During this Swim-a-Thon, swimmers will have a two-hour period in which to swim a maximum of 200 lengths. Donors are encouraged to support our athletes by pledging to support their efforts-either via a flat donation, or by pledging a certain amount of money per length that the swimmer completes.

The Swim-a-Thon will provide funds to enable our club to help our operation cost

Swim-a-Thon™ is the only pledge-for-length swimming program recognized by the USA Swimming Foundation. Since 2008, Swim-a-Thons have generated more than $72 million for swim clubs and swim programs across the country.
