DFW Employee Store

Met with several of the people today from the concessions department at the DFW Airport about the store coming back. They were very nice and listened To what I had to say.

We easily fit what they say they are wanting in new shops and stores. Unique products with a great customer expeience.

Have to get what is called SBEC certified first. The wait for an RFP to be issued that would fit what they are looking for and what the store has to offer. Appears the next round comes this fall.

So will work on the SEBC certification and then wait for the RFPs to come out and see if we fit into any of them.

So at best we might be back at the end of the year and that is if we are lucky. Wish I had better news to share but that's what I learned today.

Keep writing the airport the store and why we need to come back so we stay top of mind over there.

All of our employees worked part-time. Here is a picture of all of the staff together on our last day open. We are smiling on the outside, but not happy inside. Except for Steve Cosgrove, the owner, everyone else is an AA retiree. It was a pleasure for all of us to serve our customers.

However, we are still online at https://airlineemployeeshop.com/ with more stuff than what we had in the DFW Employee Store...... a lot more!

Officially closed..... but still available online!!!

Tomorrow will be the final day the DFW Employee Store by Gate C2 is open. We open at 9am and close sometime in the afternoon. Slight chance we are open till 7pm. We start packing up the place in the morning, moving from the back towards the front. So still a chance to get in and buy those items you need.

Staying open one more day than planned so everyone has a chance to do last minute shopping!!
